September 29, 2018 from 11 am until 7 pm, Celestial Attic will be hosting its first ever Picnic at the End of the Universe. This event will be a giant, geeky, potluck / picnic celebrating all the geeky arts. Best of all, it is all FREE!
There will be giveaways, prizes, music, games and demos to enjoy. There will be a costume contest as well. Cosplayers, bring your best!
We will also host a Really, Really Free Market that day. It is a sort of swap meet where you leave the geeky stuff you don’t want, and take what you like. You can either take the remains back home at the end of the day or let us donate them to charity. This is a great way to let your books, stickers, buttons, DVDs, T-shirts, games, toys and tapes find a new home.
Bring a dish, drink or dessert to share. Bring a game to play. Meet people. Enjoy the day.
We could use sponsors to buy burgers, dogs, buns, condiments, plates, cutlery and cups. If you are interested in getting your shop or product in front of Cleveland’s geekiest people, then this is an opportunity you will not want to miss. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
OK, here is a crazy fun treat for cosplayers out there. I just heard about it. Mr. Fun’s Magic and Costume Emporium is having it’s 2nd annual Yard Salem all indoors, this Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23, starting at 10 am. They say:
We had so much fun last year with our yard sale that we here at Mr. Fun’s thought we would do it again! Starting Friday, June 22nd and running into Saturday, June 23rd we will be hosting our 2nd annual Indoor Yard Sale! We will have similar things on sale as last year, such as old retail costumes, mannequins, rack grid and slat wall, and so on, but we also want to give you a reason to come back this year! So we will also have MORE retired rentals (We heard your requests from last year) more display pieces, more decorations, and just MORE STUFF ON SALE! Remember, this is an INDOOR yard sale, so no need for rain checks! Mark your calendar and join us for our biggest sale of the year!
Mannequins, they said mannequins!
